The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life ...

"Sound doctrine affirms that true doctrine is life giving..." (1 Timothy 1;10, Titus 2:1)

Let's grow a strong foundation!

Start your journey with the basic or first principles (foundational blocks) of the Christian faith.

In life we all start off as babies before growing into adults. Our journey with God starts when we realize we need saving. When accepting Jesus Christ as Lord in our life, becoming a child of God - our walk with God begin.

Just as in life, babies start off with milk before moving on to solid foods. Milk is for the inexperienced and unskilled whereas solid food is for the full-grown. This is how we all start, and is nothing to be ashamed of.We all grow and develop day by day, not in ONE experience or event. It's a process, an exited journey.

The apostle Paul emphasizes the importance of first principles -

*For the skilled and mature in Christ, it is wise to reflect on our basic principles.

"For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God's Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food".          (Heb. 5:12)

If you start at the right place, you'll end at the right place. Learn about the Word, understand the Word and experience the power of the Word in your daily life!

Did you invite Jesus into your life? When receiving Jesus Christ in your life you are born in spirit, because the Holy Spirit comes and makes His dwelling IN you on invitation as you submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Also also known as being 'born again'. In John Chapter 3, Jesus says you must be born in spirit (born-again) It is not a suggestion. It is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God. If you have not receive Christ in your life yet, (John 1:12), you can do so by clicking on the 'Start A Nulife!' button below, and we will guide you through the steps.

When you are born again (anew from above) keep in mind that:

A person who is born again starts a new life similar to that of a newborn infant.

Seven rules that promote good health in babies can be adapted and applied to a Christian's spiritual growth - by Adam Cooper

1. Daily Food. Take in the "pure milk of the word" through study and meditation.
2. Fresh Air. Pray often or you will faint. Prayer is the oxygen of the soul. 1 Thess 5;17
3. Regular Exercise. Put into practice what you learn in God's Word. (James 1:22, become a doer of the Word)
4. Adequate Rest. Rely on God at all times in simple faith.
5. Clean Surroundings. Avoid evil company and whatever will weaken you spiritually.
6. Loving Care.Be part of a church where you will benefit from a pastor's teaching and Christian fellowship.
7. Periodic Checkups. Regularly examine your spiritual health.

Preface

"In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed... No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people."

Spiritual Growth

Questions you need to ask yourself

What is my problem area?  (Then search for book in those 'problem areas',

Example: If you have a problem with rejection, bad habits like drinking, pornography, negativity, depression, anger or other harmful addictions like anorexia, bulimia, - you are not going to buy a book on prosperity. So make sure to read or buy what you NEED to read. Ask for wisdom!

PRAYER FOR WISDOM

The LORD says in Jam 1:5 Ask me and I will give you wisdom without finding fault

Dear Heavenly Father, You know me better than anyone. You knitted me together. You know the area's in my soul and life where the enemy had stolen. You know my flaws and my shortcummings. Lord Jesus, You are the way the truth and life. I lean trust and place my confidence in You. Holy Spirit, you are Emmanuel, God in me and with me... please guide, prompt or lead me as what I need to read in order to address my problem area.

I thank You, in Jesus' Name - Amen.

When people close to you falsely accuse, blame, or hurt you...

Direct your thoughts towards the Word. Learn from those who have walked the way.

We are in the world and people will hurt and offend us from time to time. The truth is we also offend people in our sphere of contact. We must learn how to deal with offense, and also try not to offend others intentionally. It is known that for every action there is a reaction, but always a consequence we have to live with. We have to 'live with of what we did', therefore we have to be careful of what we do. (words or actions). Therefore we have to guard our thoughts. (Prov 23:7)

When we are offended it will usually be those close to us, friends or family or working colleagues. Do not be discouraged and do not react emotionally - because they don't see what the Most High God sees IN you. God sees your heart, the inner-man, the real you (the deepest layer of who you are). The LORD knows you can choose to act responsible, with self-control and good fruit, because being a born-again believer, God have deposited His Spiritual fruit IN you (Gal 5:22,23). Unfortunately people, can and will hurt with words and or actions, therefore we have to develop our reaction muscles like David did in the book of Samuel.

In 1 Samuel 30:17 we read about how David's older brother Eliab, falsely accused him. It was clearly Satan, the accuser working through him (Rev 12:1011,). David handled this accusation wisely - he simply turned away from his brother, because he knew who he was. Even Jesus experienced accusations and criticism in His own home-town - yet He knew who He was. He was the Son of God, the Great I Am. People may look at you and see a nobody, but God looks at you and see a worthy somebody.

When David's family looked at him they saw a shepherd boy - but God saw a king

God says in Hos 6:6 'I want you to know Me'. This means being in relationship. In John 17 we read that... 'to know God is everlasting life'.

"You are as close to God at this very moment, as you want to be."

The Word says draw near to a person - not religion! [James 4:8]  "Draw near to the LORD (step one), and He will draw near to you" (this is God's promise for you)...but you need to do step one first!

The Lord's Desire:  The LORD wants full custody not weekend visits… He wants you to spend more time with Him
